Minimum 8 years of professional experience in safety, health, and environmental roles.
Demonstrated experience supporting or supervising SHE requirements on projects.
Strong understanding of hazard identification and risk control practices.

Responsibilities

Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of project safety, health, and environmental programs.
Monitor workplace activities to identify unsafe conditions, occupational hazards, and potential exposure risks.
Assist project teams in maintaining compliance with established SHE standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Participate in investigations involving accidents, injuries, near misses, complaints, and unsafe workplace conditions.
Document findings from safety observations and contribute to corrective and preventive action plans.
Recommend improvements to work methods, equipment, layouts, procedures, and operational controls where hazards are identified.
Review project activities to determine whether appropriate safety measures are being followed.
Assist in maintaining SHE procedures, inspection systems, monitoring processes, and compliance documentation.
Support employee safety training and help communicate practical requirements for safe working practices.
Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning.
Monitor potential health risks and workplace conditions that could affect employees or project personnel.
Work with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and project representatives to resolve safety concerns.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and strengthen project safety performance.
Maintain accurate records relating to inspections, incidents, corrective actions, and SHE activities.
Support quality reviews of safety programs to confirm that established controls remain effective.
Escalate significant hazards, recurring safety concerns, and non-compliant practices to appropriate project leadership.
Promote consistent application of safety procedures across supervised project activities.
