Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Senior Scheduler to develop and publish maintenance schedules, coordinate with multiple teams, and optimize resource use. This role requires extensive experience in plant maintenance planning and scheduling within utilities or oil & gas sectors.

The position involves reporting and analytics using MS Office and Power BI, with a focus on data accuracy and timely delivery. A 12-month contract is offered with renewal potential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial experience, including at least 5 years in plant maintenance scheduling, or execution within Utilities or Oil & Gas industries.
• Experience in high-volume scheduling work and/or rostering of personnel and resources using EAM systems is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and reporting/analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and publish weekly maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with planners, supervisors, and operations teams to optimize resource allocation and schedule execution.
• Monitor schedule attainment, maintenance backlog, and resource utilization.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance analysis using MS Office and Power BI.
• Maintain workforce and scheduling data within EAM systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
