Job summary

Talents Tide in Dubai, UAE, seeks a senior project planner to develop and maintain baseline schedules for complex projects, using Primavera P6, and to coordinate across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction teams.

You will monitor progress, generate weekly and monthly reports, analyze critical paths, identify risks and delays, and present updates to management and clients. The role requires strong scheduling skills and a detail-oriented approach to meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and maintaining baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of project planning standards and schedules.
• Ability to review, integrate and track schedules across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baseline project schedules aligned with contract requirements.
• Monitor progress and update weekly/monthly schedules based on actual execution.
• Develop WBS, manpower histograms, S-curves, productivity reports and resource loading plans.
• Track critical path, identify risks, delays and mitigation actions.
• Conduct delay analysis and EOT justification reports per contract guidelines.
• Coordinate planning procurement to monitor long-lead items and vendor schedules.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports to management and client.
• Ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and internal planning procedures.
• Support cost control and budget tracking by providing schedules tied to forecasts.
