Job summary

talabat is seeking a Senior Specialist - Supply Chain Automation to lead regional automation initiatives across MENA markets in the logistics domain. The role focuses on transforming manual planning, supplier management, inventory, and distribution workflows into scalable automation solutions with integrated systems and analytics.

You will partner with local market teams and regional leadership, shaping roadmaps, products, and governance while delivering measurable productivity and visibility

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a fast-paced FMCG/retail/supply chain tech environment.
• Strong experience delivering supply chain automation, product, transformation or analytics initiatives.
• 3–4 years of practical experience with mature ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, JDA or comparable platforms.
• Advanced experience with SQL, BigQuery, and data technologies (EDI integrations).
• Strong Python capability for automation and analytics.
• Proven track record delivering product roadmaps, launches and regional technology rollouts.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into scalable product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional supply chain automation roadmap across MENA markets.
• Design scalable solutions for demand planning, replenishment, supplier management, inventory control, and DC operations.
• Develop automation frameworks deployable across several countries with limited local customization.
• Identify bottlenecks and gaps that reduce productivity and automate them.
• Lead testing, validation, and rollout of central supply chain tools across regions.
• Coordinate with Product, Data, and Engineering to align automation priorities with roadmaps.
