Checkout.com is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer in Dubai to provide technical leadership across the sales lifecycle in the MENA region. You’ll own client relationships technically, translate requirements into solutions, and collaborate with Technology and Business teams to position capabilities, products, and services effectively.

You will qualify merchant needs, support pre-sales, lead workshops, and contribute to high-value proposals, ensuring bespoke payment solutions meet industry

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in a technical client-facing role (Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales).
• Experience with API-based integration methods and related tools/frameworks.
• Commercially-minded with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to translate technical jargon into business speak and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Qualify merchant technical needs upfront and support pre-sales activities.
• Lead technical/commercial workshops and contribute to proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• Design and realise bespoke merchant solutions and improve documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge to offer best-in-class solutions.
