Job summary

Emirates Group in Dubai seeks a senior HSE leader to drive safety strategy across aviation operations, risk assessment and continuous improvement of Safety Management Systems. You will lead cross‑functional teams, oversee risk registers, and implement robust incident investigation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years in Aviation or heavy industry safety.
• 5+ years executing, monitoring and supporting health and safety operations.
• Professional safety qualification from IOSH/NEBOSH/CSP/CRSP or IATA Advanced Safety Certificate.
• Proven accident and incident investigation experience with root cause analysis.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Safety and Integrated Management Systems, auditing and compliance.
• Understanding of continuous improvement and risk management practices.
• Advanced data analysis, reporting and trend evaluation capabilities.
• Leadership with ability to coach and influence stakeholders; travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop SIPs to support dnata Safety Management System deployment in the UAE.
• Provide safety guidance to leaders through SAGs, governance meetings and reviews.
• Establish and monitor risk mitigation, hazard identification and incident management programs.
• Maintain risk registers and corrective action plans from incidents, audits and near misses.
• Analyse and present safety data, trends and performance reports for Safety Boards.
• Ensure compliance with aviation, health and safety, regulatory and customer requirements.
• Promote and communicate dnata HSE policies and best practices across the business.
• Support OHS monitoring programs and regional security risk monitoring.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders; interface with customers, suppliers and units.
• Coach and mentor leadership to strengthen safety culture and accountability; travel as needed.
