Job summary

Worley requires an experienced Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Engineer in Abu Dhabi to champion safety, oversee issue resolution, and approve contractor deliverables across FEED and EPC phases for oil, gas, or petrochemical projects.

You will lead a team of specialists and engineers, ensuring design compliance with owner requirements, and coordinate with owners, licensors, and vendors to optimize equipment design and project outcomes within a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers.
• Experience in Offshore projects is required; PMC & ADNOC exposure preferred.
• Experience in FEED/EPC phases is required.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture and engagement activities.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) engineering issues.
• Review and approve contractor deliverables and design calculations to meet project specs.
• Review and approve design documents from Vendors or Subcontractors and provide comments.
• Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
