Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Engineer to lead safety culture and review major equipment design.

You will evaluate and resolve mechanical issues, approve contractor deliverables, attend owner/licensor/vendor meetings, and drive quality across FEED/EPC projects in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.

An accredited engineering degree with 15+ years' experience and ADNOC exposure is required; GCC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in GCC region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Engineering issues.
• Review and approve contractor deliverables and works within PDP, ensuring design compliance.
• Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Mechanical Engineering design activities.
• Coordinate input for design options and optimization and development of specifications.
