Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Specialist Rotating Engineer to lead and coordinate mechanical rotating equipment design for high-profile projects. You will oversee integration with EPC contractors, ensure adherence to ADNOC standards, and drive design reviews across multiple disciplines.

The role requires strong communication, a minimum of 15 years in oil & gas, and the ability to guide technical teams through installation and commissioning stages, while aligning with project

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant oil & gas experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with international codes and ADNOC standards.
• Ability to lead and coordinate engineering teams with EPC Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall Mechanical Rotating Engineering integration within IPMT team.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of rotating equipment designs by consultants and EPC Contractors.
• Review and approve work to comply with ADNOC specifications and industry standards.
• Participate in design option analyses and engineering workshops.
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers across departments.
