Job summary

Worley in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead static equipment engineering across FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering. You will guide design, specifications, and procurement of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment, ensuring ADNOC standards and international codes are met.

You will coordinate with discipline teams, review vendor documentation, and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality results on major Oil & Gas projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• 5+ years in GCC region (preferred).
• Experience in FEED & EPC Phases required.
• Strong knowledge of ASME/API/TEMA/NACE standards.
• Experience in vendor management and fabrication oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead static equipment engineering activities across FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering.
• Provide technical leadership for design, specifications, and procurement of static equipment.
• Develop equipment datasheets, MSRs, technical bid evaluations, and vendor docs.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to integrate static equipment needs.
• Review vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures, and QC.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost optimization.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and technical meetings with clients.
• Monitor progress and ensure deliverables meet schedules, quality, HSE.
• Mentor and supervise a team of specialists, engineers.
• Interface with clients, licensors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
