Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Senior Static Equipment Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering phases. You will provide technical leadership for design, specification, and procurement of static equipment including pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, reactors, and package equipment.

The role requires a 15+ year track record in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical, with 5+ years in the GCC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 15+ years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• 5+ years in GCC region preferred.
• Experience on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering phases.
• Provide technical leadership for design, specification, and procurement of static equipment (pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, reactors, package equipment).
• Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and applicable international codes (ASME, API, TEMA, ASTM).
• Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Procurement disciplines for integration.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost optimization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability workshops, and technical meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables meet schedules, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
• Interface with clients, licensors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and support project execution.
