Job summary

Sener UAE is seeking a Senior Rolling Stock Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, engineering coordination, installation, and delivery of Rolling Stock systems for major rail projects. The role requires close collaboration with Traction Power, Signaling, Telecommunication, and other railway disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years of experience in Rail Systems, a strong grasp of Rolling Stock interfaces, and a proven track record with large-scale metro or rail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in Rail Systems.
• Proven experience in Rolling Stock engineering.
• Experience coordinating interfaces with major railway systems.
• Knowledge of railway standards and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Rolling Stock engineering activities across design and delivery phases.
• Review Rolling Stock designs, specifications, and supplier documentation.
• Coordinate interfaces with Traction Power, Signaling, Telecommunications, SCADA, Track, Civil, MEP.
• Review technical proposals and supplier submissions for project requirements.
• Support Rolling Stock installation, testing, commissioning, and integration.
• Provide technical leadership on Rolling Stock systems and interfaces.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and interface coordination.
• Support testing and verification activities as required.
