Job summary

Sener en Ingeniería is seeking an Interface Engineer to join the Rail & Metro team in the UAE, coordinating Civil, Track, Signaling, Telecommunications, Power, MEP, Architecture interfaces for seamless railway system integration.

The role covers leading interface coordination across project phases, maintaining the Interface Register, and supporting construction, testing, and handover while adhering to international standards and Sener quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• 6–8 years of overall engineering experience.
• 6–8 years of Rail & Metro experience in Interface Engineering and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Experience managing interfaces on Rail & Metro projects.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of technical interfaces between Civil, Track, Signaling, Telecommunications, Power, MEP, Architecture, and other railway disciplines across all project phases.
• Develop, maintain, and manage the Interface Register, tracking and resolving interface issues.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews and interface meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Identify interface risks, design conflicts, and dependencies, and work with stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure interface requirements are identified and coordinated.
• Prepare interface reports, meeting minutes, action trackers, and documentation.
• Support design coordination during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, international railway standards, and Sener quality procedures.
