Job summary

Sener in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Structural Design Manager to lead the structural design discipline across major Rail & Metro projects, providing technical and managerial leadership through the design lifecycle.

The role requires extensive Rail & Metro design experience, hands-on structural analysis, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Rail & Metro design experience with leadership across design lifecycle.
• Strong reinforced concrete and steel design knowledge and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Structural Design team, planning resources and performance.
• Plan and manage deliverables from concept to IFC design stages.
• Coordinate designs for iconic, underground, at-grade and elevated stations.
• Provide technical direction and ensure applicable standards are followed.
• Mentor engineers and drive quality procedures across projects.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related Engineering discipline

Minimum 15 years structural engineering experience

Rail & Metro design experience with leadership

Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel design

Leadership, client & stakeholder management

Proficiency in structural analysis software and BIM coordination
