Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sr. Roller with extensive steel industry experience to operate and maintain rollers in a long product rolling mill. Education: Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering; basics of roll pass design.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain rollers to compact soil, gravel, concrete, and asphalt on construction sites
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report any malfunctions or damages to the supervisor
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the roller, following all safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate with other team members to coordinate and execute tasks effectively
• Keep accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance
• Assist in training and mentoring junior rollers and other team members
• Adhere to company policies and regulations at all times
