Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is expanding its Risk and Assurance capability in the Middle East and seeking a Manager based in the region. You will lead complex ORM/ERM engagements, design enterprise risk frameworks, and drive governance and assurance activities with clients and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operational or enterprise risk management.
• Hands-on ownership of a risk framework or components (taxonomy, KRIs, appetite).
• Experience running RCSAs and testing control design and effectiveness.
• Strong communication skills; able to engage with boards, regulators and committees.
• Professional certification in ERM or ISO 31000 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ORM and ERM engagements with budget and timelines.
• Design integrated risk frameworks linking principal risks to controls.
• Identify top-down enterprise risks across strategic, financial and regulatory areas.
• Lead Safety Culture assessments, HSE reviews, and leadership coaching engagements.
• Develop risk appetite statements and cascade into tolerances and KRIs.
• Facilitate RCSA workshops with process owners and map controls to risks.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness; drive remediation plans.
• Strengthen governance, reporting and escalation to executive/board level.
• Deliver assurance activities and independent reviews for major programs.
• Engage with risk and audit committees, regulators, and second/third line teams.
• Coach junior team members and nurture client relationships.
