Job summary

ADIB Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Operational Risk Manager to drive the Group's ORM framework and advise on key business initiatives, products, and outsourcing engagements. You will engage with senior stakeholders across functions to strengthen risk governance and decision making.

The role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in operational risk, strong communication skills in English and Arabic, and proven ability to train and mentor risk champions across the organization.

Qualifications

• This role requires 12+ years in operational risk within financial services.
• At least 7 years in Operational Risk Management and related banking activities.
• MBA or other reputable postgraduate studies are required.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert and provide leadership and advisory on ORM for initiatives, outsourcing, policies and procedures.
• Oversee implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework across the group and affiliates.
• Provide guidance to ORM peers and other 2nd Line of Defense risk oversight functions.
• Build and produce regular reports on operational risk profiles and exposures for senior management.
