Job summary

Emarat is seeking an experienced risk professional to support the development and implementation of risk management strategies and frameworks. The role focuses on effective identification, assessment and mitigation of risks while promoting a culture of risk awareness across the organization.

Key duties include maintaining and updating the ERM framework, coordinating risk assessments, supporting risk owners, and reviewing risk registers.

Qualifications

• Required: Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in governance and risk management.
• Experience in energy sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in developing and updating ERM components such as policies, procedures, roles, and risk criteria.
• Assist in identifying strategic risk training needs and ERM activities.
• Plan, design and implement enterprise-wide risk management processes.
• Coordinate risk assessment across departments and risks reporting.
• Review departmental risk registers for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop the entity-wide risk register including top risks and indicators.
• Assist in periodic reviews of ERM policies, procedures, and controls.
