Job summary

Decima International is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision and construction delivery for a large-scale project in Dubai, UAE. You will oversee civil, electrical, and mechanical works, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specs.

The role requires 20+ years in resident supervision and a strong grasp of contract administration, claims, and variations within data center or large-scale

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in resident engineering, construction supervision, or PM for large-scale projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical fields.
• Senior-level engineering background in Civil or E&M disciplines.
• Experience on data center, mission-critical, or large commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervision across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical works.
• Serve as senior site interface between client, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee progress, inspections, coordination, and quality.
• Review methods, submittals, schedules, and site execution plans.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers to resolve technical issues and clarifications.
• Chair site coordination and progress meetings; manage NCRs and corrective actions.
• Monitor safety, schedule, cost and contractual compliance on site.
• Support contract administration through variations and claims.
