Job summary

Decima International seeks a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision and construction delivery oversight for a major building project in Dubai. The role requires supervising multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 20+ years in resident engineering and a strong background in civil or E&M disciplines, with experience on data center or large-scale developments.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in resident engineering, construction supervision, project management, site engineering, or construction management for large-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical engineering or Construction Management.
• Senior-level engineering background in Civil or Electrical & Mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial developments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervision across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and related works.
• Serve as senior site representative and primary technical interface with client, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee construction progress, inspections, quality, and contractor execution.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure safety, schedule, and quality obligations are met.
• Review methods, test plans, submittals, and site execution plans.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers to resolve design clarifications and constructability issues.
• Chair and participate in coordination meetings and contractor reviews.
• Ensure inspections, testing, documentation and acceptance comply with quality procedures.
