Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Senior Civil Works Manager for depot and online buildings on a High Speed Rail project. You will lead civil/structural design review, construction supervision, QA/QC, and interface with track, systems and utilities, directing a multidisciplinary team to meet safety, schedule and cost targets.

Minimum 15 years’ rail design/construction experience, with at least 5 years on railway projects.

Qualifications

• Not less than fifteen (15) years’ experience in management of design/construction of rail projects.
• At least five (5) years in management on a railway project.
• Middle East/UAE experience is highly advantageous.
• Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s/Chartered status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design review, construction supervision and interface management for depot and online buildings.
• Oversee cost control, scheduling, QA/QC and HSE across civil works packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with systems, utilities and track teams.
