Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Works Manager – Depot & Online Buildings for the High Speed Rail project. You will lead civil/structural design review, construction supervision, cost control and interfaces with track, systems and utilities along the depot and wayside buildings.

Strong leadership of a multidisciplinary team and adherence to international and UAE/GCC standards are essential. You will oversee scheduling, QA/QC, risk management, and handover activities, ensuring safe delivery and alignment

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in design and/or construction management of rail projects.
• At least 5 years in management of design/construction of railway projects.
• Experience with High Speed Rail (HSR) projects is highly preferable.
• Must have held similar role on a project of comparable size and complexity.
• Middle East/UAE experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary civil/structural engineers and site supervisors for depot and wayside buildings.
• Review and approve design deliverables, drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Supervise contractors, monitor QA/QC, and manage health and safety compliance.
• Develop and maintain construction program; monitor progress and implement recovery plans.
• Manage cost control, change management, risk registers and reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff; interface with client, authorities and systems contractors.
