Job summary

T H K Building Contracting L.L.C in Dubai seeks an experienced Pre-Contract Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, tendering, and pre-award budgeting for complex construction projects.

You will review drawings, prepare BOQs, analyse potential costs, and coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure competitive pricing and commercial success.

7–10 years' experience in QS, MRICS preferred. On-site role with emphasis on accuracy, risk assessment, and value optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• MRICS qualification is an advantage.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and drawings to understand project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for tenders.
• Prepare and review BOQs and cost breakdowns.
• Analyse costs including materials, labour, plant, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for cost inputs.
• Support post-contract commercial management and cost reporting.
• Identify risks and propose cost-saving options.
• Prepare tender clarifications and commercial responses.
