Job summary

Ali Mousa & Sons Contracting is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle both post-contract and pre-contract activities in the UAE. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying and possess 4–5 years of UAE experience in post-contract and pre-contract work.

The role encompasses take-offs from drawings, preparation of payment certificates, RFQs, RFIs, and tender documentation, with responsibilities split between post-contract and pre-contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 4–5 years of UAE experience in post-contract and pre-contract quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor: Prepare and check quantity take-offs from approved drawings.
• Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor: Measure completed work for monthly payment applications and payment certificate submissions to consultants.
• Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor: Prepare subcontractor interim payment certificates.
• Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor: Verify subcontractor measurements and invoices.
• Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor: Assist with project close-out documentation.
• Pre-Contracts Quantity Surveyor: Take off quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Pre-Contracts Quantity Surveyor: Prepare and issue enquiries/RFQs to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Pre-Contracts Quantity Surveyor: Prepare RFIs for missing details, ambiguities, and design clarifications.
• Pre-Contracts Quantity Surveyor: Assist in tender submission documentation, including technical and commercial compliance.
