Job Description

We have an opening for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (Consultants experience) with strong post-contract experience in building projects in the UAE and coming from Consultants side.

The candidate should have a solid background in cost management, contract administration and commercial management gained with a reputable cost consultancy or developer in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract quantity surveying activities from project commencement to completion.

• Prepare and review interim payment applications, valuations and payment certificates.

• Manage variations, change orders and claims.

• Prepare and monitor project cost reports and cost forecasts.

• Review contractual documents and ensure compliance with contract conditions.

• Prepare, review and negotiate final accounts.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with a reputable cost consultancy, quantity surveying consultancy or established property developer.

• Strong knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, interim valuations and final accounts.

• Excellent commercial, negotiation and coordination skills.

• Ability to independently manage post-contract responsibilities and liaise with project stakeholders.
