Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying or similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for elevator installation and maintenance projects.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying financial risks and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors and manage variations.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors for procurement and negotiate terms.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and document findings for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Identify and manage risks related to costs and timelines; implement mitigation plans.
• Address contractual or financial disputes and maintain relationships with involved parties.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts and financial reports.
• Stay updated on elevator technology and construction methods; implement process improvements.
