Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in Dubai is seeking a senior leader to oversee Estimation, Tendering and Engineering for New Equipment projects. You will guide cost estimation, technical risk management, and tender execution to win large-scale opportunities.

You will manage engineering activities from tender through project delivery, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate across factories, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to secure project wins and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in the elevator, construction, or engineering industry.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within Estimation and Engineering.
• Experience in tendering, technical reviews, and contract evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quotations, tenders, and cost estimates.
• Ensure competitive pricing, accurate costing, and risk assessment.
• Support Sales with technical and commercial proposals.
• Drive tender quality, consistency, and process improvement.
• Manage engineering activities from tender stage through project execution.
• Review and approve technical submissions and design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate with factories, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Estimation and Engineering teams.
• Manage resource planning and team performance.
• Build a high-performing and customer-focused team culture.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to secure project wins.
• Support major bids, customer presentations, and negotiations.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance for key opportunities.
• Drive improvements in competitiveness, quality, and profitability.
