Job summary

GMG Gulf in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a senior Quantity Surveying Manager - Projects to lead cost management across complex projects. The role reports to the Director - Projects and focuses on cost planning, contract administration, tender management and overall project financial control.

You will direct budgeting, value engineering, and risk mitigation while coordinating with PM, procurement and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Quantity Surveying preferred.
• Ten to fifteen years of experience in quantity surveying or project cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning and commercial management across design, tender and construction stages.
• Prepare comprehensive budgets, cost plans and financial control frameworks.
• Monitor expenditure and produce accurate cost-to-completion forecasts.
• Identify potential cost overruns and implement mitigation measures.
• Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising requirements.
• Oversee Bills of Quantities, take-offs and pricing assumptions.
