Job summary

GMG is seeking a Manager - Quantity Surveyor to lead project cost management from design through completion. The role provides financial discipline, value optimization, and contractual compliance across complex projects under the Director - Projects.

Key responsibilities include cost planning, procurement oversight, contract administration and claims handling, with a focus on large-scale retail fit-out projects and cross-functional governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering required.
• Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management across design, tender and construction phases.
• Develop comprehensive project budgets and cost plans.
• Monitor expenditures and forecast cost-to-completion.
• Oversee procurement strategy and tendering processes.
• Manage contract administration and claims.
• Conduct periodic site visits for progress validation and cost verification.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
