Job summary

Built Recruitment is seeking a Senior QA/QC Manager for a UAE-based contractor in Dubai. The role leads quality assurance and control across an Airport project, ensuring compliance with specifications, ITPs and ISO standards, while guiding multi-package quality teams and overseeing approvals and handover documentation.

The ideal candidate has extensive QA/QC leadership in major civil/airport projects, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and proven experience with complex client/consultant approval

Qualifications

• 15+ years QA/QC experience with major construction companies.
• Significant management experience.
• Airport/aviation infrastructure experience
• Major infrastructure/civil construction experience.
• Strong ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Experience with complex client/consultant approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Airport project Quality Management Plan.
• Establish project QA/QC procedures and inspection regimes.
• Lead quality teams across multiple work packages.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and ITPs.
• Manage inspection, testing and approval processes.
• Monitor NCRs, corrective actions and recurring quality issues.
• Manage consultant/client quality inspections.
• Oversee material approvals and testing.
• Audit subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor quality performance against project KPIs.
• Support technical submittals and prequalification.
• Ensure quality documentation is complete and suitable for handover.
• Lead quality close-out and final documentation.

As a consequence of recent project awards they have an immediate need to permanently appoint a Senior QA/QC Manager in Dubai.

The appointed person will lead quality assurance and quality control across the Airport project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, client requirements, approved quality plans, ISO standards and contractual requirements.
