Job summary

Confidential Careers in Dubai seeks an experienced QA/QC Engineer to lead quality control for high-end villa and residential projects. You will implement QA/QC procedures, inspect civil, structural, architectural and finishing works, review drawings, specs, method statements and ITPs.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and 5–8 years QA/QC building experience, with villa/residential project background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years QA/QC experience in building construction.
• Villa, luxury residential, or high-end residential project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Knowledge of ITPs, Method Statements, MIR, WIR/IR, NCR, and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for villa construction works.
• Conduct inspections for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
• Prepare and manage Inspection Requests (IR/WIR), MIRs, and quality records.
• Identify non-conforming works and raise NCRs, ensuring timely corrective actions and closure.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams regarding quality requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved standards.
• Conduct quality inspections and site quality walks.
• Assist in preparing method statements, ITPs, checklists, and quality documentation.
• Maintain proper QA/QC records and support project handover and closeout activities.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
