Our client is hiring for a QA/QC Engineer job in Dubai to join their team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting quality assurance and quality control activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring construction works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction QA/QC processes, documentation, inspections, testing, and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.


• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and recommend improvements as necessary.


• Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).


• Ensure all documentation is up to date and accessible for review.


• Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction processes and materials comply with quality standards and project specifications.


• Coordinate and oversee material testing, including concrete strength, soil compaction, and welding inspections.


• Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure quality standards are achieved throughout all phases of the construction process.


• Communicate quality-related issues and discrepancies to project management and provide solutions or corrective actions.


• Provide quality training and awareness sessions for site staff and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of quality procedures and expectations.


• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in quality assurance and construction quality management.


• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.


• Prepare for third-party audits and inspections and address any findings or recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry, with 3–5 years of experience preferred.


• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality assurance concepts.


• Familiarity with relevant quality standards, including ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI standards, etc.


• Proficiency in quality inspection tools and software.


• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Professional certifications such as CQI, CQA, or similar are an advantage.
