Job summary

Cinergie Digital in Dubai seeks an experienced QA professional to own the testing lifecycle for web and mobile applications. The role covers functional, regression, API, and performance testing, with strong emphasis on automation using Selenium and REST Assured.

You will validate data through ETL processes, verify backend integrity with SQL, and manage defects with JIRA, Zephyr, and Xray in an Agile environment. Collaboration with analysts, developers, and product owners is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test plans and test cases.
• Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
• Perform API testing and backend validation using REST Assured, SoapUI, and SQL.
• Test Mobile and Web applications across platforms and devices.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Perform ETL testing and data integrity validation.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, Zephyr, and Xray.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Execute performance testing and identify bottlenecks using JMeter.
• Support SIT, UAT, and Production deployment activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Defect Triage meetings.
• Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and test closure reports.
