Job summary

Systems Limited - Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on test automation across web, mobile and API/backend applications.

You will design, develop and maintain automation frameworks, work with Selenium, Appium, Java, API automation and CI/CD in an Agile environment with developers, product owners and other QA professionals.

Exposure to performance testing using JMeter and cloud-based testing on LambdaTest will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on test automation across web, mobile and API/backend apps.
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, Java, API automation and CI/CD.

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in software test automation across web, mobile and API/backend applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing and maintaining automation frameworks, working with Selenium, Appium, Java, API automation and CI/CD, and should be comfortable working in an Agile environment with developers, product owners and other QA professionals.

The candidate should also have exposure to performance testing using JMeter and cloud-based testing platforms such as LambdaTest.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile and API applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Appium and related automation tools.
• Perform API/backend automation and validation.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end automation testing.
• Perform performance, load and endurance testing using JMeter.
• Identify, document, track and validate defects through resolution.
• Analyze test results and provide clear reports to technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and define appropriate test coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage and QA processes.
• Take ownership of assigned testing activities and deliverables.
