Job summary

Leap29 is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Dubai for a 12-month renewable contract. The role covers mechanical and process utilities, coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure safe, compliant execution on site.

You should have a Mechanical Engineering degree and about 10 years in chemicals, food & beverages, pharma or petrochemicals, with at least 3 years as an engineer and solid stakeholder management.

GMP knowledge is a plus as is oversight of permits and handover of revamped areas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Around 10 years in Chemicals / Food & Beverages / Pharmaceutical or Petrochemicals industries.
• Minimum 3 years working as an engineer.
• Basic knowledge of GMP would be an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management required.

Responsibilities

• Cover mechanical and process utilities systems (including fume hood ventilation).
• Prepare and close relevant permits for contractors.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe execution of work.
• Assist end users and Engineering team on taking over the revamped area and ensure proper handover.
• Coordinate with EHS and Site Engineering to follow and close regulatory items.

Job Purpose

Main point of contact between contractor and client stakeholder participate in the testing & commissionin g and takeover of the project review contractor submittals to ensure specifications are in accordance to company specifications Inspect and follow up contractors on project defects resolution.

The Job

• Covering of mechanical and process utilities systems (including fumehood ventilation)
• Preparation and closure of the relevant permit for the contractors
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe execution of work.
• Assist end users and Engineering team on taking over the revamped area and ensure proper handover.
• Coordinate with EHS and Site Engineering to follow and close up on regulatory.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified (Mechanical Engineering)
