Job summary

Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for interior fit-out projects in the UAE/GCC.

You will oversee the entire project management plan, coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers, and ensure timely handover with quality and safety compliance. The role requires 8-12 years of relevant experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience managing high-end commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, and office fit-out projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out construction methods, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent understanding of architectural, MEP, and joinery coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 / MS Project is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the full project management plan including scope, procurement, production, design, and communication.
• Monitor on-site execution to ensure timely handover within approved design and quality standards.
• Manage contractual and commercial issues with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Lead enquiries, quotes, and technical evaluation of vendor proposals.
• Coordinate submittals, approvals, and follow-up actions to expedite progress.
• Conduct technical and commercial workshops with project officials, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare progress reports and monitor project performance across teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on all sites.

Job description

• Responsible for the entire project management plan including scope, procurement, production, design, communication, project human
  
• To monitor and supervise the project execution process on site to ensure completion of the job and hand over the projects within specified
  
• timeframes in an organized and cost effective manner, in accordance with the approved design and quality standards so as to meet
  
• customer's satisfaction and maintain continuity of the business.
  
• Examine drawings, assess the material requirements, approve and submit the material requisition accurately to facilitate purchase of
  
• appropriate quantities of materials.
  
• Operate and manage all the related contractual and commercial issues with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  
• Manage and follow up the enquiries and quoting process and verifying the technical aspect of quotes received from various vendors.
  
• Monitor and do the necessary follow up to ensure the earliest approval of the submittal.
  
• Manage and conduct the technical and commercial workshops, attending meetings with projects officials' contractors and suppliers.
  
• Determine and manage the required reports to monitor and evaluate the project progress.
  
• Direct the planning department for production and installation program.
  
• Conduct quality checks on works carried out to ensure that the products meet all clients' specifications and adherence to the quality, health
  
• and safety regulations on all assigned sites.
  
• Operate, control and monitor project team performance and their productivity.
  
• Coordination between clients, site, sub-contractors and suppliers. Negotiation of prices with sub-contractors, suppliers, and various project
  
• stakeholders.
  
• Scrutinising the invoices received from sub-contractors based on the work done at site.
