Job summary

Worley in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Specialist Project Control Engineer to lead planning, scheduling and cost control for large energy projects. You will work with the Project Control Manager to ensure safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives are met, and integrate multi-contractor schedules for feedstock, offsite and utilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 15+ years in oil and gas with GCC/UAE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
• 15+ years of project experience in oil & gas with planning, scheduling and cost control.
• Minimum 5+ years GCC/UAE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure baseline schedule follow-up, monitoring and reporting.
• Provide guidance on earned value, cost variance, and estimates at completion.
• Develop integrated project schedule with multiple contractors’ milestones.
• Ensure adherence to contract, procurement and scheduling requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with variance explanations.
