Job summary

Floward, Dubai-based, seeks a Senior Product Designer II to lead design strategy and craft across multiple squads. You will translate business goals into scalable product experiences, collaborate with product, engineering, and UX research, and elevate design quality with a strong focus on systems and consistency.

You will mentor designers and shape the design culture, driving excellence and continuous learning across teams while engaging in agile, cross-functional workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, HCI, Design, or related fields.
• 7+ years in product design, with 2–3 years in a lead or strategic role.
• Proficient with Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.
• Ability to influence product direction in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing scalable consumer or B2B digital products.

• Represent the user perspective in strategic product decisions.
• Expand and maintain Floward’s design system to ensure scalability and consistency.
• Create robust component libraries, interaction patterns, and usage documentation.
• Promote design reuse and system thinking across teams.
• Work alongside senior product managers, engineering leads, and stakeholders to align design with strategy.
• Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and collaborative planning sessions.
• Advocate for user-centered design in product development processes.
• Mentor junior and senior designers, providing feedback, coaching, and career growth guidance.
• Promote a culture of design excellence and continuous learning.
• Lead critiques and design reviews, setting the tone for high performance.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Product Designer II is a strategic design leader responsible for driving large-scale product initiatives across Floward’s digital platforms. This role takes ownership of experience design across multiple squads or complex product areas, influencing product strategy, enhancing design operations, and setting new standards for quality and consistency. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and UX Research, the Senior Product Designer II translates user needs and business objectives into elegant, intuitive, and scalable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Design Leadership

• Lead the design vision and roadmap across multiple squads or a large product domain.
• Translate complex business goals into cohesive and impactful product experiences.

Advanced UX & Visual Design Execution

• Solve highly complex UX problems through advanced prototyping and interaction design.

3. Research-Driven Product Thinking

• Partner with researchers and data analysts to uncover user insights and market trends.

• Expand and maintain Floward’s design system to ensure scalability and consistency.
• Create robust component libraries, interaction patterns, and usage documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in UX, HCI, Design, or related fields. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

• 7+ years in product design, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or strategic role.
• Demonstrated success in designing scalable consumer or B2B digital products.
• Strong experience in using Figma, prototyping tools, and design system platforms.
• Proven ability to influence product direction at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
