Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a senior designer to lead end-to-end product design for an AI-powered marketplace. You will shape mobile-first experiences and create intuitive conversational interfaces that drive engagement and conversions.

Collaborating with Product, Engineering and Data, you will prototype rapidly, test with users, and translate insights into high-quality digital products for the MENA market, including Arabic RTL support.

Qualifications

8+ years of product design/UX experience with a strong track record of shipping end-to-end digital products to market.
Demonstrated experience designing shipped or prototyped conversational AI/LLM surfaces beyond standard chat widgets.
Deep mobile-first interaction craft tailored for fragmented sessions, thumb ergonomics, latency, and resumability.
Fluent understanding of LLM capabilities and trade-offs, including streaming, structured output, tool use, memory, latency, and failure modes.
Proven ability to operate without rigid briefs, executing rapid explorations in a fast-changing environment.
Must currently reside in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Experience with live-data prototyping tools or multimodal/voice interaction design.
Experience designing for the MENA market, including Arabic RTL interfaces and multilingual code-switching.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery and problem definition through prototyping, testing, iteration, and launch.
Shape intuitive AI-powered experiences by translating sophisticated capabilities into simple, natural, and engaging customer interactions.
Design mobile-first journeys that help customers explore, refine their needs, and take meaningful action.
Reimagine digital experiences across search, personalisation, account journeys, and new ways for customers to interact with products.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data to solve complex problems, explore ideas, and bring high-quality experiences to life.
Apply visual and interaction design, motion, and micro-interactions across mobile and web.
Prototype, experiment, and iterate using customer feedback, behavioural insights, and data to improve the product and influence its direction.
Define conversational interaction models for a live, high-consideration consumer marketplace on mobile.
