Job summary

Careem Networks FZ LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Product Designer to lead and evolve our Design System across rides, delivery, and payments. You will own tokens, components, and documentation, shaping the system for designers, engineers, and AI agents.

The role emphasizes building AI-native tooling, improving consistency, accessibility, and cross-brand collaboration, with a focus on RTL/Arabic and multi‑region support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product design, 3+ years in design systems at scale.
• Advanced knowledge of token architecture and component APIs.
• Experience with LLMs and agentic tools.
• Excellent English writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to distinguish semantic intent and manage complexity.

Responsibilities

• Own the lifecycle of design system tokens and components.
• Define standards for color, type, spacing across platforms and RTL.
• Maintain documentation for cross-component guidance.
• Champion WCAG accessibility as a system-level guarantee.
• Structure tokens for AI-native workflows.
