Job summary

Emirates Link Nitco LLC (ELN) seeks a Senior Procurement Engineer with hands-on UAE infrastructure procurement experience to lead end-to-end sourcing for sewerage, stormwater, and wet utilities.

You will prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, manage SAP MM PR/PO and supplier relationships, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency. This role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a minimum of eight years in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of hands-on procurement in UAE infrastructure.
• Experience in sewerage networks, stormwater, and wet utilities.
• Hands-on SAP MM including PR, PO, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of UAE suppliers and subcontractors.
• Strong negotiation and procurement management skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer with strong hands-on procurement experience in infrastructure projects, particularly sewerage networks, stormwater drainage, and wet utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for infrastructure projects. Source and procure construction materials, including pipes (GRP, HDPE, uPVC, DI), fittings, valves, manholes, and related equipment.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Handle purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO), and procurement transactions through SAP.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery, compliance with technical specifications, and cost efficiency.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on procurement experience in the UAE infrastructure construction sector.
• Proven experience in sewerage networks, stormwater drainage, and wet utilities projects.
• Hands-on SAP experience (SAP MM), including PR, PO, and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure materials, UAE suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Excellent negotiation, technical evaluation, and procurement management skills.

Important: Candidates with experience limited to building construction or general purchasing without relevant infrastructure procurement experience will not be considered.
