Job summary

NMES is seeking a Supervisor Procurement and Contracts in Dubai to lead procurement and contract processes for plants and business units. You will collate requirements, finalize RFQ specifications, and coordinate end-to-end procurement with legal and finance to meet timelines and cost targets.

You will analyze quotations, negotiate with vendors for best value, manage POs in SAP, and monitor supplier performance to protect NMES interests across local and international sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Materials Management, Logistics and distribution or equivalent.
• 10-7 years’ experience in the same field preferably in the Power industry on local as well as international procurement.

Responsibilities

• Collate information from plants and finalize specifications for RFQs to suppliers.
• Coordinate procurement or Contract cycle for assigned materials and services under supervision to ensure timely, cost-optimized procurement.
• Administer purchase terms with stakeholders and legal to ensure delivery as per PO/Contract and take corrective actions if deviations occur.
• Support vendor performance evaluation and identify suitable vendors for future work.
• Create outline agreements in SAP and ensure POs link to the outline agreement.
• Expedite deliveries and coordinate logistics to ensure timely availability of materials.
