Job summary

Worley seeks a Specialist Process Safety Engineer (ABU02CL) to lead Loss Prevention activities on mega Oil & Gas projects, including ADNOC, offshore scopes, and FEED/EPC phases. The role emphasizes safety leadership, technical reviews, and coordination across disciplines.

The successful candidate will drive risk assessment, develop specifications, and guide contractor deliverables through Construction and Commissioning, ensuring compliance with international standards and Owner policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.
• At least 5 years in a similar mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical project role.
• ADNOC project experience is required.
• Offshore project experience is required.
• FEED & EPC phases experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
• Coordinate and supervise Loss Prevention engineering aspects to meet technical objectives within scope, budget and schedule.
• Oversee technical reviews of Loss Prevention deliverables for compliance with codes and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance for loss prevention specifications and design options.
• Support during Construction, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning phases.
