Job summary

Worley is seeking a seasoned Loss Prevention Engineer for a mega Oil & Gas/Petrochemical project. The role focuses on leading HSSEQ goals, safe project delivery, and coordinating Loss Prevention activities across engineering disciplines.

The candidate will oversee technical reviews, ensure compliance with international codes and Owner standards, and support risk assessments, HAZOP/HAZID, and bid evaluations. UAE-based assignment with offshore exposure is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical.
• At least 5 years in a similar mega project role.
• ADNOC project experience is required.
• Offshore project experience is required.
• PMC experience is preferable.
• Experience in FEED & EPC phases is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSSEQ goals and sustainable, safe delivery of the project to the Owner.
• Coordinate Loss Prevention engineering to meet objectives within scope, budget and schedule.
• Supervise technical reviews of Loss Prevention deliverables from Contractor and licensors.
• Coordinate with Technical Departments, Operations and Maintenance to resolve issues and ensure quality execution.
• Provide technical guidance on Loss Prevention during all project phases.
• Develop systems and standards for Loss Prevention in line with codes, standards and Owner policies.
• Champion Project Safety culture and reporting to PMC Engineering Manager.
• Review and approve Contractors' Loss Prevention work for contract compliance.
