Job summary

NetApp in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to align technical strategy with customer goals and drive differentiated solutions. You will translate business needs into technical strategies, lead demonstrations and POCs, and collaborate with wider teams to expand footprint across strategic accounts.

The role requires deep technical knowledge across NetApp technologies, Hybrid Cloud, data protection, and AI-driven data solutions, with strong presentation and leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Technical Sales, Presales, or Solution Engineering with large strategic customers in Abu Dhabi territory.
• Strong technical knowledge of NetApp technologies, Hybrid Cloud, Data Management Infrastructure, and Storage.
• Deep knowledge in Cyber resilience and data protection, including backup, disaster recovery, and ransomware mitigation.
• Background in Application/Database environments (e.g., Oracle, SQL, VDI) and video surveillance storage needs (VMS).
• Fluent communicator with excellent presentation skills to map value propositions to customer requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in team-selling environments and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive opportunities with new and existing customers in collaboration with client executives to grow NetApp revenue.
• Translate customer business needs into technical solutions based on NetApp portfolio and collaborate with wider teams.
• Conduct demonstrations and lead POCs with SMEs as needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of business and technology strategy, change management, and digital transformation opportunities.
• Use NetApp sales tools to manage accounts, opportunities, and pipeline in alignment with client executives.
• Identify growth opportunities outside existing install base to increase relevance and footprint in accounts.
