Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dubai is seeking a Senior Presales Engineer to drive growth in Building Technology and Solutions. You will report to Presales Manager and work with Sales for technical and commercial proposals, applying your experience to deliver optimized solutions.

Based in Dubai, you will validate design assumptions, perform risk analysis, and participate in transition meetings with Operations to ensure scope, timeline, and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in telecom/electronic/electrical or similar.
• Minimum 7 years experience in Pre Sales / Estimation of Physical Security systems (IP surveillance, Access control).
• Result oriented, self-motivated, customer focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Validate assumptions made during solution design estimates and scope of work for assigned projects with operations.
• Provide technical risk analysis for the complete solution.

• May perform onsite data collection at customer facilities.
• Support post-contract design reviews.

What you will do

The Senior Pressales Engineer is key role directly reporting to Presales Manager. You will be based in Dubai and be a part of growing team and will be responsible for driving the growth of business for Building Technology and Solutions. As a Senior Pressales Engineer you will be working closely with the Sales team for technical and commercial proposal. As a member of this team you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the presales/estimation for the most optimized solution.

How you will do it

You will be responsible for validating assumptions made during solution design estimates and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. You will be also responsible for providing technical risk analysis for the complete solution. You will be part of transition meetings with Operations team to ensure project scope objectives timeline and customer requirements are taken care in proper manner. As a Senior Pressales Engineer you may need to perform onsite data collection at customer facilities and support postcontract design review. You will be also focused on developing multiple components. You will be using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors).
