Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Interface Manager (SPB) to oversee and coordinate complex oil and gas projects for a high-profile client. You will manage Interfaces across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety standards.

With a track record in large EPC/EPCM or PMC projects and ADNOC or regional mega projects, you will lead multi-contractor coordination, develop the Interface Register, and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).
• Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 20+ years of experience in oil & gas projects.
• At least 5–7 years in Interface Management roles within large EPC/EPCM or PMC projects.
• Proven experience on ADNOC or similar Middle East mega projects.
• Experience managing interfaces across multiple contractors and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project Interface Management Plan.
• Establish interface procedures, workflows, and communication protocols.
• Define responsibilities and ownership for each interface.
• Create, maintain, and update the Interface Register.
• Track interface issues, action items, dependencies, and closure status.
• Ensure timely resolution of all open interface matters.
• Coordinate interactions among client, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Facilitate effective communication across all project participants.
• Act as the primary contact for interface-related matters.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Ensure design information is exchanged accurately and on time.
• Resolve design conflicts between civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process disciplines.
• Manage interfaces between multiple contractors working in shared areas.
• Resolve site access, work-front availability, and sequencing conflicts.
• Ensure construction activities are executed without interference.
