Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Planning Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting for major infrastructure projects. You will develop master programmes with Primavera P6, monitor progress, risks and EOT impacts, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in planning and project controls, with 5+ years in a planning managerial role, and are familiar with UAE requirements and BIM/digital construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Certification such as PMP or PMI-SP preferred.
• Minimum 15 years planning and project controls experience with 5+ years as planning manager on major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for large infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain integrated master programmes using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Monitor progress, risks, and schedule impacts; support EOT assessments.
• Coordinate with Client, contractors, consultants, and authorities; present to senior management.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses.
• Mentor planning engineers and establish planning standards across the project.
