Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Planning Manager to lead all project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will develop integrated programmes, monitor progress, identify risks, and support timely decision-making to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of planning and project controls experience; at least 5 years as planning manager on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience on UAE infrastructure projects and authority requirements is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update the project master programme using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Monitor progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify delays for corrective actions.
• Identify risks, perform delay analysis, and support EOT assessments.
• Coordinate planning activities with client, contractors, and authorities; lead planning engineers.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses.
• Lead and mentor the project planning team and establish reporting standards.
