Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd seeks a Planning Engineer - Infrastructure Projects in Dubai to lead complex scheduling for major transportation and infrastructure programs. You will manage design, procurement, construction, and approvals milestones, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and authority procedures.

You will build and maintain master schedules, perform delay analyses, and produce clear reports for management decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Professional Engineering certification is required.
• 7–12 years of planning engineering and programme management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of RTA specifications and infrastructure requirements.
• Experience in delay analysis and EOT claims.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed baselines, recovery, revised, and master schedules.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and approvals teams.
• Analyse progress vs baselines and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Prepare look-ahead plans and weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Lead planning meetings and provide scheduling risk assessments.
• Support EoT claims with narratives and supporting evidence.
